Savuti (Chobe National Park) Campsite

Savuti Campsite marks a crossroads between the Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park, sitting 50 kilometres north of Mababe Gate within the 10,878 square kilometre Savuti Marsh – once a lake, now a dry relic cut off by ancient tectonic shifts. 14 well-spaced pitches make up the ground, each with a braai stand, cold water tap, and dustbin (self-catering only, so pack your own supplies and firewood). There’s no restaurant here, just open-sky cooking and unfenced bush surrounds, so lion and hyena calls often drift past the tents after dark.
